We are proud to offer a variety of services to our community! Here at Lautares we offer staff that are graduate geologists, master bench jewelers, and design and watch repair. We also have Gemological Institute of America accreditation, as well as the American Gem Society.

We offer appraisals, engravings, battery changes, jewelry repair, and ring sizing. Please do not hesitate to call us with any questions about our services we may provide to you. 

 

APPRAISALS:

An appraisal is a document that describes, considers its relative quality, and assigns a value to an item. These documents can be for insurance (replacement) purposes or for estate (fair market value) purposes. We, here at Lautares Jewelers offer both types of appraisals.

As members of the American Gem Society, and having a Registered Jeweler on staff, we have the knowledge and training to give accurate and detailed appraisals for your treasured pieces of jewelry.

We are also able to give value and documentation to your silver hollowware and flatware. We can even come to home to evaluate your items.

We ask that you call and make an appointment, then bring your items on that day. We thoroughly clean your jewelry then write up a description and value. We ask that you provide us any certificates or grading reports that you may have for your jewelry. This allows us to offer a more complete and accurate estimated replacement values. We provide two copies of the appraisals, one for you and one for your insurance company.

 

ENGRAVINGS:

We offer engraving on many of our items.  Personalizing your jewelry or gift makes the gift even more special.  We can engrave that special name, date or whatever else is dear to you onto your jewelry or plaque. Ask us about our jewelry engraving today.

Hand Engraving 

Hand engraving is nearly a lost art.  A master hand engraver spends decades perfecting his skill and talent.  Lautares is proud to provide this service.  We have access to a master hand engraver who is sure to create the perfect gift.  A signet ring hand engraved with a crest and a family coat of arms will surely become a treasured heirloom for generations to come.  

Machine Engraving 

We have a state-of-the-art engraving machine here in our store and offer machine engraving on many of our products.  Baby cups, charms, bracelets, frames, and trays can be engraved to help make your gift not ordinary, but extraordinary!
